Golden Crown Restaurant

This is the best American Chinese food and Chinese food in town I swear! The service is amazing with amazing and sweet waiters! This place deserves more customers so please come down to golden crown it’s amazing my dad and I come every Wednesday it’s so good!!!

Come here for lunch weekdays. Fast service. Good food. The tables could be cleaned a little better they were a little sticky. Fast service I like to get the lunch special

This is the best Chinese food in Salem. I have had all of them. As you can tell by the number of reviews I've left, I am very seasoned. I've eaten Chinese food around the country and even in Europe. This is some of the best most cravable Chinese food I have ever had. It reminds me of a time when there was more value restaurant food. The portion size is like the early 2000s. Huge! The restaurant itself is clean and cute. It reminds me of a normal authentic Chinese food restaurant like you would have experienced decades over. The staff are friendly and warm. When you walk in the entire place, smells like heaven. If you're trying to choose the best Chinese food restaurant in the area to pop into, or even just a place to grab a bite, this is the one.

Good food, good service, my only regret is i did not find the restaurant sooner. I totally recommend trying it. I am going to be back because I want to try everything on the menu, top notch

The best war wonton soup! Enough to share and have leftovers. When you order take out, they package the broth so the veggies and wontons for the best meal at home! One of the few restaurants in town that offer Chow Fun! And it is wonderful. I had heard they recently changed hands, the store had kind of gotten run down. Pandemic didn’t do downtown Salem any favors. The new owners have cleaned the restaurant up and it’s much better! The chefs are the same. After rediscovering them a few months ago, it has returned to one favorite downtown restaurants. Parking in back makes it easy to get my elderly mom into the restaurant.

PLEASE. You need to come here. The service is top tier, the staff are utter sweethearts, and I’ve never once had a poor experience in all my years here. They have great deals for food, and their regular prices are amazing. They’ve got AC, comfy chairs, beautiful wall decor, and it’s just generally an amazing atmosphere. There’s this one girl, her name’s Mai, and she’s genuinely the kindest woman I’ve ever meet in all my years of existence, coming from an OLD thirteen year old. So, yeah. I’m pretty viable!!! Anyway, come to Golden Crown. You WONT forget it.
